Who We Are
Conservation Halton and Hamilton Conservation Authority have established a partnership to coordinate the development of source protection plans, share resources, and combine technical expertise. Through their partnership activities, Conservation Halton and Hamilton Conservation Authority have assembled a Source Protection team to assist with the provincial source protection initiative. This team includes a Project Manager, Hydrogeologist, GIS/Data Specialist, and a Project Assistant. You can e-mail the Source Protection team at :sourceprotection@hrca.on.ca The team assembles and collect data as background information for the source protection plans, and to establish working relationships with municipal partners and stakeholders. Deliverable projects include preparing Watershed Characterization and Water Budget Reports for the Conservation Halton and Hamilton Conservation Authority watersheds. Activities for the team include coordinating plan development by bringing together stakeholders and the Source Protection Committee, as well as continuing to provide technical expertise and educational outreach.
