 Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region
Vision
To lead the development of a source protection plan for the combined watersheds of Conservation Halton and Hamilton Conservation Authority, in cooperation will all municipalities involved. The main components include watershed assessment, watershed plan development, information management, and implementation of a public information and communications program. Guiding Principles

Objectives & Goals - Watershed Assessment - To conduct a watershed assessment of Halton and Hamilton.
- Watershed Plan Development - To undertake watershed technical analyses to support water budget development.
- Information Management - To coordinate products and services to effectively deliver SWP information.
- Public Information and Communications Program - To provide information and processes that will allow watershed stakeholders to understand drinking water source protection and its importance in order to make informed decisions on how water will be protected.
